Here is a look at some of our other current involvements!

MJPAS is an Acrobatique AcroDance Member Studio!

Having an Acrobatique teacher at your studio not only results in safe, progressive, and effective AcroDance training, but also gives our acro and tumbling classes a high level of industry credibility. Acrobatique AcroDance is known for its commitment to quality

To master an Acro Dance trick, students must develop a good foundation of strength and flexibility, thus emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning through stretch and strength training. When students are learning new tricks, the instructor utilizes professional spotting techniques; which is necessary to ensure safety and build confidence.

Make sure you look for ACROBATIQUE certification to ensure your dancer's safe participation and the appropriate development of strength and flexibility to support their acro technique.

HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for children's recreation and sport. Before HIGH FIVE, no standard existed and there was a clear need for an innovative approach to help organizations enhance program quality and provide positive experiences for children, which would remain with them for a lifetime.

When children participate in recreational play, they develop physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. What they learn at play provides a strong foundation that will help prepare them for future life experiences. All recreation and sport programs have a responsibility to provide activities and environments where children feel safe, welcome, competent, connected, empowered and special.

Today, HIGH FIVE holds true to the five Principles of Healthy Child Development that the research indicates are essential for quality programs:

  • A caring adult,
  • The opportunity to make friends,
  • The opportunity to play,
  • The opportunity to master skills, and
  • The opportunity to participate!

Miss Jennie's makes sure that all of the instructors have received the Principles of Healthy Childhood Development training.
